Kevin has posted some fascinating scans of photos and documents from the Prince George’s County Police Department‘s files on the 1972 attempted assassination of Governor George Wallace at Laurel Shopping Center.

The PG Police Records Management Division shared a treasure trove of material—much of which has never seen the light of day after the arrest of Arthur Bremer. Kevin’s “History Matters” column focused on the police investigation as opposed to the event itself, and has been one of his most widely read pieces to date.

Check out his page for even more images and insights that the Laurel Leader didn’t have space to include.
